What’s Rotary?
Rotary Club of Ojai West is a member of a volunteer
organization of 1.2 million business and professional leaders united worldwide
to provide humanitarian service and help build goodwill and peace. About
32,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries conduct projects to address
today’s challenges-including illiteracy, disease, hunger, poverty, lack of
clean water, and environmental concerns- while encouraging high ethical
standards in all vocations.
The Rotary 4-Way Test
Our motto is “Service Above Self “ We also do our best
to measure our words, thoughts and actions by :
| Is it the TRUTH? | |
| Is it FAIR to all concerned? | |
| Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? | |
| Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned? |

The weekly meeting begins with breakfast, a chance to catch up with one another before the business meeting begins. Guests are welcomed , members are singled out for a Happy Birthday, or Wedding anniversary.
The business of Rotary Ojai West is then addressed with reports from committees, club projects, community and international announcements, upcoming events and volunteer calls .
We are an active club and have a lot of fun along the way…..
Our meeting includes a guest speaker who represents a community or internationaleffort or interest…
The meeting is concluded at 8:30am.July begins a new Rotary year and members get busy right away with the Ojai Band Concerts held on beautiful summer evenings at the Gazebo in Libbey Park,Wednesdays beginning in July and ending before Labor Day.
